STORY BOARD!

Storyboard Blog  First Scene:  This will be a close-up shot and everyone will be in a car all sweaty and nervous. Emphasizing the experience he's going through.  Second Scene:  This is a shot of the rapper reciting his music and going over it before the show. Overall, elaborating on how this characters mind is all over the place. Third Scene : There is a transition over to the main subject through a jump cut, showing the rapper leaving the car in a far away shot.  Fourth Scene:  This scene is when the rapper comes into the bathroom to relax, and gather his thoughts while nervous. This adds to the whole themes of losing yourself in the music, and emphasizes the characters struggle.  Fifth Scene:  The character continues to be stressed and goes to throw up. This will be including a high angle shot. Overall highlighting the sheer pressure going through him. Sixth Scene:  Next, there is close-up shots of the subject trying to rap to the audience. But, he can’t seem to speak and get his

MUSIC PLANNING BLOG!

Planning Blog Props:  Me and my group decided to do Lose Yourself by Eminem. In our production we’ll bring things like slime which will be used to imitate Vomit. A microphone to replicate the rapping portions. Things like that will make the filming more realistic and entertaining. Costumes:  In the Video, we'll all be collectively dressed up and will collectively act. We'll bring sweater, rap-like clothing including long shorts and long sleeves. We’ll also appear as slightly sweaty, to look nervous. We’ll hopefully try to imitate Eminem’s unique clothing style as best as possible. Schedule: Date: 11/18/22 - On this day, me and my group plan to research the genre of the Eminem video and its overall meaning. Date: 11/18/22 - On 11/19/22, my group will start to figure out our props, and set and how we will put it all together in our video. MUSIC RESEARCH BLOG!

My group and I are doing a music videos for Lose Yourself by Eminem. In the actual video of this artists, the film producers used the narrative/story telling style of the song, and filmed with conventions such as close ups, low angle, dark lighting, to produce a sad genre.  These attributes are fairly common throughout the filming industry, and many slow paced songs use them to produce a sad sensation. In this case, the song utilizes these conventions until the "beat drop", which then switches into a very moving pace, with rapid shots, ext. In many songs beat drops are correlated to a change of theme. In this scenario the theme is correlated to the "character" becoming more confident, and capable. In a normal story this change at the beat drop would be the start of the rising action and the beginning of development. Similar videos of Artists, such as Doja cat, follow this rising action in their songs like "kiss me more". This format makes it very easy to c

THE GROUP!!!

Hello, I'm Teo, and this is our second session of blogging. I'll describe my group blog today, the people I'm collaborating with, and my motivations for doing so. First and foremost, we all banded together because we knew that in order to succeed, we needed one another. Makayla is one of my group's three members, who make up our group as a whole. Because we get along well and she has working components that I don't, I decided to work with her. She is able to reason and understand things in a manner that I am unable to. We are close to one another and can easily communicate with one another. She is laid-back and amusing, and Dazira introduced us. We have social media accounts in common and relate to one another, therefore we'll get along great. We'll make great friends, in my opinion. Another member of my group, Dazira, has a variety of abilities, including intelligence and resourcefulness. She has the ability to complete tasks, so I decided to work with her.

ABOUT MYSELF!!!

I was born in the United States of America, but when I was two years of age my family and I moved to Argentina in 2009. Of course, my parents grew up there and after we moved there, we stayed for approximately 6 years.  The reason we had to move out is because since 2016 Argentina has been having an economic crisis.  After we got back to the US, I had to start school in  4th  grade with no knowledge of English whatsoever.  I had a very rough time in elementary as my grades were awful and it was hard to make friends due to the language barrier.  However, in Middle school I finally managed to get straight A's and B's, make plenty of friends, have good test scores, and overall have a good school experience.   Almost all of the friends I made in middle school (Sunrise Middle), came to Fort Lauderdale high school, which has made my overall experience here good.  Almost every class that I go to I have a friend I can talk to, a companion I can share experiences with, and most import
