The slog through post-production for "The Lull" is finally over! After weeks of revisions, late nights splicing footage, and enough reshoots, the movie is complete. We poured everything into this project, and seeing the final cut feels incredible. Now comes the real test: David and Corey, our fifth-period partners-in-crime and resident horror gurus. They'll dissect "The Lull" from every angle, scrutinizing the plot, the scares, the whole shebang. As I hit send on the screener link, a cocktail of nerves and excitement washes over me. This is our shot to prove our horror chops. The wait for feedback was brutal. Did they get the chills? Did the message resonate? Then, the ping! My inbox explodes with their response. Holy. Cow. Not only did "The Lull" meet their expectations, it blew them away. They raved about the story, the performances, and the way we pieced it all together.  Hey there, it's another exciting day for me as I continue editing this thrilling suspense movie. Today I decided to handle the editing solo style. As I sit down to work on the film, I can feel the energy and excitement pulsing through my veins. I'm thoroughly enjoying the process of editing the film, as each scene takes on a life of its own, bringing the suspense to new heights. Every frame is a work of art that I'm able to mold and shape into something truly special. I'm having a blast playing with different angles and cuts, finding the perfect balance between tension and release. It's like putting together a giant jigsaw puzzle, and I'm the only one who knows what the final image will look like. I love that feeling of being in complete control of the story and characters, and it's thrilling to see it all come together. There's nothing quite like the satisfaction of creating something that has the potential to leave a lasting impact on viewers. The mus

I'm thrilled to continue editing my suspense film. After putting in days of hard work, I'm eager to see everything come together even further. I've prepared my popcorn and coffee for a long editing session ahead. I chose to use Cap Cut for editing since I'm already familiar with the site, and I don't want to wany time getting used to a new platform. I made sure my phone had charge and started. Having watched all the footage, I've selected the best takes, and it's incredible to see how the acting brings the characters to life. It's like making art. The recording and sound work are impressive, and the music score adds so much to the atmosphere. That's why my teacher always highlights the importance of sound. Cap Cut has become my go-to editing software. I find it easy to cut, trim, and rearrange clips, and I'm experimenting with different visual effects and transitions. It's incredibly satisfying to watch a rough cut evolve into a polished sequ

For my editing I chose to use cap cut. I was already very familiar with the site and I didn't want to waste time. The first thing I did was watch all the footage and choose the best takes. It's amazing to see how the acting brought the characters to life. I'm also impressed by the work of the recording and the sound we accomplished. The music score is fantastic and it adds so much to the atmosphere. This editing software is my new best friend. It's so easy to cut, trim, and rearrange the clips. I'm also experimenting with different visual effects and transitions. It's so satisfying to see a rough cut turn into a polished sequence. I'm paying attention to pacing, rhythm, and tension. I want the audience to be on the edge of their seats. I'm also refining t
