Production Blog

I'm thrilled to continue editing my suspense film. After putting in days of hard work, I'm eager to see everything come together even further. I've prepared my popcorn and coffee for a long editing session ahead. I chose to use Cap Cut for editing since I'm already familiar with the site, and I don't want to wany time getting used to a new platform. I made sure my phone had charge and started. Having watched all the footage, I've selected the best takes, and it's incredible to see how the acting brings the characters to life. It's like making art. The recording and sound work are impressive, and the music score adds so much to the atmosphere. That's why my teacher always highlights the importance of sound. Cap Cut has become my go-to editing software. I find it easy to cut, trim, and rearrange clips, and I'm experimenting with different visual effects and transitions. It's incredibly satisfying to watch a rough cut evolve into a polished sequence. I'm also paying close attention to pacing, rhythm, and tension. I want to ensure that the audience is on the edge of their seats. The sound design is equally important, so I'm refining it and adding Foley effects. Small details like the sound of footsteps, doors closing, and breathing can make a big difference in creating the desired atmosphere. I'm watching the film over and over again, searching for any inconsistencies or errors. Today's session was productive, and I'm excited to continue editing. It's a great feeling to see all the hard work paying off and the film coming together. Thank you for reading.
