Production Blog

Today my mind was out of the game. I came home with a load of work. I stumbled onto the set, my head spinning from all the school work ahead of me. Today I didn't feel like filming one bit. I knew that tonight's shots would make or break in this suspense movie, and I was determined to give it my all though. As I took my place behind the camera, I realized, I didn't know what shots to re-take exactly. Nevertheless I wanted to take some extra kitchen shots incase I needed them in the editing stage. I took a deep breath and began to film. The first shot went off without a hitch, the first scenes were easy. But as we moved on to the next scene, I knew they'd get trickier. I took another shot, and took a break. As the day wore off I became more tired. The lighting was dim, the music eerie, and the acting was going good. However, I knew that the final shot would be the most important of all. Overall the shots were coming out good. Lastly I finished some scenes and just ran off to do some other work. Finally, after what felt like hours, I wrapped up the shoot. I was honestly exhausted and just wanted to relax. Nevertheless, I took some good shots and they might come in handy.
