My group is doing a Coca-Cola commercial. In these commercial, the audience usually sees people that are thirsty, and consuming the product (Coke). These attributes are fairly common throughout the beverage market. To target larger audiences, they try to use different costumes in different situation to integrate different consumers. This highly expands the consumers which relate to their ad. The most common props may include Coke, ice, refreshing-looking water, and may even include refrigerators. The Props are angled perfectly to show the Coca-Cola through-out the ad, and even use other props to make it more appealing to the consumer. This makes the consumer tempted to buy the product. The characters appearance is usually sweaty, thirsty, and hot in temperature. This builds an iconic setting in which Coke seems more appealing. The sound used through the commercials may vary, however the most commonly used sounds include the "clack" from opening a Coke, and a relieved "sight" after consuming the drink. These iconic sounds create a relieving, and satisfying sound to attract the audience. Some convections, and codes in Coca-Cola commercials include the symbolic polar bear, the cursive written logo, and the iconic shape or color of the drink. These attributes automatically correlate the company with the product. When someone sees these components they automatically corelate it to Coke, creating a recognition. The commercials sometimes include ethos-showing famous actors, and maybe comedians. This helps attract specific audiences through these famous characters. In these scenarios these actors catch attention, and increase awareness of the brand, therefore benefiting sales. All these these things individualize Coca-Cola from the commercial market. By utilizing these attributes in our commercial, we'll be able to produce a similar yet high quality production.
