MB PRODUCTION BLOG

Today I was able to get some more shots in. My partners and I met after school and went to the filming locations. In the car I went over the plan and started to organize the filming session. The first filming location was at my house where I made a quick stop to film. I started off by filming the shots of my room. Even though I've previously filmed them, looking back on the footage, the filming was sloppy. Eventually, after creating the setting I was able to make a shot I was properly confident on. After wards, I went with my group to the stadium location at the park. I had to try to knock out the stadium scenes and film the second car scene. First I went to take the stadium scenes, which included the pan scene that was necessary for the video. I only took a couple shots since all of us had to go home. Afterwards, I went to the car, to take the car scene. However for some reason I struggled with this shot because the reflection of the window kept showing the camara. Eventually I came up with the idea to just step back and zoom in. By doing this I were able to still get that close-up shot, and not have the footage ruined. Fortunately, right as I called it a day, it started pouring. Although it's not completely ready, the main shots have been taken. However when I got back home something very tragic happened. Some of the most important stadium shots were ruined due to some dirt found in the lens. With all of the rushing around I was careless and ignorantly lost all the clips, meaning I'll have to go back to re-film the stadium. Overall however this was progress since I still knocked out some important scenes.
