MB PRODUCTION BLOG
Finally, the 16th has come and the work has been completed. I previously started combining the clips a couple days ago, however the work is officially finished. Originally I tried to test out different editing website's, however this didn't work out. I tested out adobe and, iMovie however these apps where simply complicated. Long story-short, I decided to go back on good old cap-cut. My phone, and laptop was utilized for the filming. The software aids in the smooth movement of the videos scenes. I could easily add any editing tools which was needed. Aligning the scenes was very simple, as were most edits. I measured the length of the video after combining all of the material, and it was a little too long. I attempted to shorten the scenes because they were a little longer than necessary, but the major components were still there. I then decided to include a variation of noises. I did this by adding very very subtle digested sounds from the background which added realism. The timing of the sequences was then managed by all of us, and collectively came up with ideas to improve the recording. These sounds enhanced the quality of the video. Obviously I still maintained the song playing, however it was important that I added these small noises. When combined, all of these diegetic sounds served to emphasize the exact message I were attempting to convey. All these sound edits were very helpful as they helped produce a better quality of video. Additionally, they help procreate a more realistic scenario. Overall I think that these modifications helped us express the meaning of this video far better.
